The Ancient Copy Machine: What’s a Mimeograph?

Before printers and photocopiers, the mimeograph machine was the go-to way to make copies fast. Invented in the 19th century, it worked by forcing ink through a stencil to create identical prints, kind of like an old-school version of a printer but with more mess. Schools, businesses, and even underground revolutionaries used it to mass-produce documents. While it's mostly a relic of the past, some artists and hobbyists still use mimeographs today for their unique, vintage print style!

The Biggest Planet in the Universe (So Far!)

Astronomers have discovered some absolutely massive planets, but the largest one ever found is ROXs 42Bb, a gas giant so huge it blurs the line between planet and brown dwarf (a failed star). This colossal world is about 12 times the size of Jupiter and orbits its star at an extreme distance. Scientists aren’t even sure if it should be classified as a planet because it might have formed differently.

Curiosity’s Rock Crush Reveals a Martian Mystery!

NASA’s Curiosity rover accidentally ran over a rock on Mars, and made a surprising discovery! The crushed rock exposed a bright, crystal-like interior that scientists had never seen before on the Red Planet. This unexpected find could help researchers understand more about Mars’ geology and its past, possibly even hinting at conditions that once supported water.
