Lost Tomb Found
Even Indiana Jones missed this one.
Archaeologists have discovered a long-lost tomb beneath the ancient city of Petra, Jordan, the filming location for the final scenes of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
While the city has no connection to the Holy Grail, the new find is significant, revealing 12 skeletons and various artefacts dating back over 2,000 years.
Interestingly, one ceramic cup resembles the Holy Grail from the movie.
The tomb was found using ground-penetrating radar near two other tombs unearthed in recent years.
This rare discovery offers a unique opportunity for study, as most tombs in Petra are usually empty after being looted in antiquity.
